The Bosifest / Awards / 2019 /

The Grand Prix of the 10th Bosifest went to the Spanish documentary film "Moises" by Laura De Migel,

"Moises" is an extremely powerful film, devastatingly emotional, true and painful. What is particularly striking is that it accomplishes all this in a very simple and unpretentious way in just 19 minutes.

“Slowness” captured the essence of family drama through cinematic language close to classic Iranian feature film. It's impressive how the director has managed to gain the confidence of the actors and enter their intimate world.

The award for the best-case scenario went to "The journey-a story of love" by Fanny Bräuning (Switzerland).

journey-a story of love” is very carefully scripted and directed and it gives us insight into a very specific intimate relationship that was put to the test due to the illness of one of the partners. The most powerful thing about the film is what was left unsaid - the overwhelming desire for life of a husband, who by the nature of things must collide with his wife, who is immobile and utterly helpless.
